Paleoglyphs just seemed like the right name for these. How is that name, Paleoglyph, different from a Petroglyph? Here’s a guess: a Petroglyph is found inscribed into rock. But a Paleoglyph could be found inscribed, or even painted, onto a wall, an antler, a sculpture, ceramic, or even into the landscape like the Nazca lines in Peru and elsewhere.
