Maybe you’ve never heard of a “Red Racer”. If you lived in the Southwest, you would have heard of it. It’s a small, very red snake, which, as the name implies, is fast. I had made some sketches with that little guy in mind, so I thought I’d take part of the sketch and place it into a nice wide letter. I usually start with an existing typeface and then make some necessary changes to it. So, now you know why I called this alphabet “Red Racer”. By the way, they’re harmless to humans.
